Speed and Agility

SES IT strategy was designed to accelerate delivery of new digital applications that included mobile, social, analytics, and cloud capabilities. To achieve the needed speed and agility, SES chose OutSystems' low-code and modern application development platform option.

New applications to go

OutSystems is since 4 years now the low-code development platform for customer and partner facing business commercial applications and internal applications. The driver was the need to accelerate the delivery of new applications for each vertical market. Indigo is collaborating with SES in both these threads for 10 months now, daily adding new features to the self-service portal: The Your SES extranet.

Establishing relationships

The Your SES extranet is a secure online platform that gives access to all tools, data and resources needed for each stakeholder. Establishing a much closer relationship with customers and partners, it´s simple to access the very latest updates on satellite service, commercial documents and other useful data for partner interaction.

This application is used daily by 3207 users from 157 countries and provides up to date information about the status of each ongoing commercial activity and contract.

Team participation

Indigo team implemented and delivered several modules for the Customer Portal application, some of which included the integration up to 8 third party systems. Indigo was also responsible for the code stacks migration (from Java to .NET) and the migration of the on-premises environment to the cloud.

In regard to the IT renewal strategy unifying the platforms used across SES worldwide office, there is also an ongoing need to integrate with new systems and Indigo is there do support and deploy these integrations and leverage them within the Customer Portal.
